Mobile Vet Service Areas in Palm Beach County, Florida
You know, one of the first questions we get is "do you come to my area?" After 16 years doing house calls across Palm Beach County, we've logged more miles than we care to count. The short answer: if you're in Palm Beach County, we probably serve your neighborhood.
The longer answer: we cover everywhere from Jupiter down to Delray Beach, and west out to Wellington and Loxahatchee. That's basically the entire county, except for Belle Glade, South Bay areas. Some areas we visit multiple times a day, others once or twice a week—but we get there.
How We Think About Our Service Area
Here's the thing—we don't really think in terms of "zones" or "territories" like some mobile vets do. We think about drive times from our Lantana facility and how quickly we can get to your pet when they need us. That said, breaking the county into regions helps you figure out if we're already visiting your neighborhood regularly.
North Palm Beach County—Jupiter to Gardens
This is where a lot of our more active dogs live. Lots of beach access, dog parks, outdoor lifestyle. The pets up here tend to keep us on our toes.
Cities We Serve in North County

(including Jupiter Farms, Abacoa, Jupiter Inlet Colony)

The beach dogs here are athletes. Between the Inlet, the dog park at Jupiter Pointe, and all those families jogging around Abacoa, these dogs get serious exercise. Which means we see a lot of torn ACLs, paw pad injuries from sand, and arthritis in aging Labs who spent their lives running on the beach. The thing about Jupiter that makes house calls so valuable? The traffic. Try getting from Jupiter Inlet Colony down to a traditional vet during season—that’s easily 45 minutes each way.

Small beach town, very pet-friendly. Higher rate of skin issues than inland areas—probably the salt air and humidity combo. We’ve done enough house calls here that most of the condo associations know our vehicle by now.

Quieter than Jupiter, but same outdoor lifestyle. Lots of waterfront properties where loading a big dog into a boat is easier than loading them into a car for a vet visit. We handle a lot of senior pet care here—the demographics skew a bit older, and so do the pets.

High-rises with ocean views. The elevator logistics here are interesting—some buildings require freight elevator scheduling, others are fine with us using the main elevators. We’ve figured out the protocols for pretty much every building on the island at this point.

Mostly residential, lots of waterfront properties. These neighborhoods are established, so we see more senior pets than puppies. Pain management, mobility issues, quality of life consultations—that’s the bread and butter here.
What We've Learned About North County Pets
After thousands of house calls up here, we've noticed North County dogs tend to be more active than their southern counterparts. That's great for their overall health, but it does mean more orthopedic issues as they age. All those years of beach running and dock jumping catch up eventually. The good news? We can assess mobility and pain levels way better when we watch dogs move around their own homes versus on a slippery clinic floor.
Central Palm Beach County—West Palm to Lantana
This is where our facility is located, so response times here are quick. Central County has the most diverse mix—everything from luxury estates in Palm Beach to family neighborhoods in Lake Worth.
Cities We Serve in Central County

Our busiest area, hands down. West Palm has every type of neighborhood you can imagine, which means every type of pet situation. We do everything here—puppy visits, senior care, emergency calls, surgical follow-ups. The variety keeps things interesting. Traffic can be brutal during season, which is exactly why house calls make so much sense.

Suburban neighborhoods, larger properties than you see closer to the coast. Families here often have multiple large dogs, which makes house calls especially practical. Try loading three German Shepherds into an SUV for a vet visit—it’s not fun for anyone involved.

Right between West Palm and North Palm Beach. Mostly older neighborhoods, established communities. Lots of senior pets here who really benefit from house calls—no stress, no car rides, just comfortable care at home.

The island has its own protocols. Estate managers, gate security, staff coordination—we’ve learned how it works. Many of the estates here have multiple pets, and the owners value discretion and convenience above everything else. We’ve done house calls in homes where the dog’s living space is nicer than most people’s apartments. The pets here get excellent care, but the owners appreciate not having to coordinate transportation and security for a routine vet visit.

Small city, mostly residential. We know most of the neighborhoods here by now. Quick in and out from our facility—usually there within 15-20 minutes of an appointment time.

Family neighborhoods, lots of multi-pet households. Lake Worth families tend to be practical and cost-conscious, which we respect. The house call model actually saves them money when you factor in time off work, gas, and coordinating multiple pets. We do a lot of multi-pet visits here—see all three dogs in one appointment, get everyone’s vaccines done, handle any concerns together.

Home base. Our animal hospital facility is right on Ocean Avenue, which means Lantana clients get the best of both worlds—quick house call response times and immediate access to surgical services if needed. We probably know half the dogs in Lantana by name at this point.

Central County Logistics
Being centrally located means we can usually get anywhere in this region within 15-20 minutes, sometimes less. That matters for urgent situations—a dog who ate something they shouldn't have, a cat who's struggling to breathe, a pet who's declining rapidly. Those extra 30 minutes saved by not driving to a clinic can make a real difference.
South Palm Beach County—Delray to Manalapan
The southern part of the county has its own character. More beach communities, higher concentration of seasonal residents, different pet care patterns.
Cities We Serve in South County

Delray has this interesting mix of beachfront properties and inland neighborhoods. We’ve noticed Delray pets have higher rates of skin issues—probably the salt air and humidity combination. Lots of seasonal residents here too, which means we get calls about boarding alternatives and house call vet care during snowbird season. The beach access is great for dogs, but it does mean more paw pad injuries and occasional marine life encounters.

Another small barrier island town. Very upscale, very quiet. Similar to Ocean Ridge—established communities, often senior pets, owners who value privacy and convenience.

South of Delray, between the Intracoastal and the ocean. Mix of high-rises and single-family homes. Seasonal population spikes in winter, which means busier winter months for pet care here.

Family-focused area, lots of kids and dogs growing up together. We do a ton of puppy visits in Boynton—first exams, vaccine series, training advice. The neighborhoods here are spread out, which actually makes house calls more efficient than having families drive 20 minutes each way to a clinic.

Unique little mobile home community right on the beach. We love Briny Breezes clients—down-to-earth people who really care about their pets. The community is tight-knit, so once you do a good job for one resident, the referrals come quickly.

Small barrier island community between Boynton and Gulf Stream. Mostly residential estates, very quiet. The pets here tend to be well-cared for, and the owners appreciate the convenience and discretion of house calls.

Tiny town between Boynton and Lantana, mostly estates and oceanfront properties. We don’t get as many calls from Manalapan just because the population is small, but we serve the area regularly.

South County Patterns
We've noticed South County pet owners are often seasonal residents who want continuity of care even when they're not in Florida year-round. We coordinate with their northern vets, keep detailed records, and make sure nothing gets missed during the transition periods. It's actually easier to maintain that continuity when we're coming to their home versus them visiting different clinics in different states.
Western Communities—Wellington to Loxahatchee
This is where a lot of our more active dogs live. Lots of beach access, dog parks, outdoor lifestyle. The pets up here tend to keep us on our toes.
Cities We Serve in Western County

Horse country. Most of our clients here have multiple large dogs—and they’re used to caring for big animals. The properties out here are perfect for house calls because loading three German Shepherds into an SUV for a vet visit just doesn’t make sense. What’s interesting about Wellington pets is they’re exposed to way more wildlife than dogs in coastal areas. We’ve treated snake bites, encounters with wild hogs, even a dog who got too curious about a gator. Plus, the equestrian community here understands orthopedic issues better than most—they know what a torn ligament looks like and they know it needs professional care quickly.

Mix of suburban neighborhoods and larger properties. Royal Palm Beach families tend to have multiple pets, and they appreciate the efficiency of getting everyone seen in one house call visit. We coordinate a lot here—dog vaccines, cat wellness exams, maybe a senior pet check-up, all in one appointment.

Newer development between Wellington and Royal Palm Beach. Young families, growing community, lots of puppies and young dogs. We’re seeing more and more calls from Westlake as the community builds out.

Most rural area we serve. Some of these properties are measured in acres, not square feet. Loxahatchee pets are often working dogs or outdoor dogs, and they see different health challenges than pampered indoor pets. Wildlife encounters are common, parasites are a bigger concern, and the outdoor lifestyle means more injuries. The drive time out here is longer—30 to 35 minutes from our facility—but for Loxahatchee residents, that’s still way shorter than driving in to a clinic.

Western County Advantages
Here's what we've figured out about serving the western communities: house calls make even more sense in rural areas. When you're already 15 miles from the nearest clinic, adding another 15-mile drive for a routine vet visit gets old fast. Plus, many of these properties have gates, long driveways, and multiple pets to manage. Having the vet come to you just makes practical sense.
Special Situations We Handle
Gated Communities

We’ve done house calls in probably a hundred different gated communities across the county. Each one has slightly different protocols—some want us on an approved vendor list, others are fine with residents calling us in as guests, some require escort from the guard gate. We’ve figured out the procedures for most of the major communities, and for new ones, we work with you to make sure access is smooth.

High-Rise Condos

Elevator logistics, parking validation, building security protocols—we’ve handled it all. Some buildings want us using freight elevators, others are fine with the main elevators. Some have loading docks, others have us park in visitor spots. The key is just communicating with building management ahead of time.

Estate Properties

Large private estates have their own considerations—gate codes, staff coordination, security systems, sometimes even multiple properties on one estate. We’ve learned to coordinate with estate managers to make sure appointments run smoothly and discretely.

Rural Properties

Long driveways, farm animals, wildlife considerations, sometimes spotty cell service. Rural house calls require a bit more flexibility, but they’re some of our favorite visits. The pets are usually more relaxed in wide-open spaces, and there’s something satisfying about providing quality vet care to areas that are underserved by traditional clinics.

"But Do You Come to My Specific Neighborhood?"
Although we can't list every subdivision and gated community, there are hundreds across the county. But here's the simple truth: if you're in Palm Beach County, call us. Chances are excellent we already visit your area regularly. And if we haven't been to your specific neighborhood yet, that just means you'll be the first.
We've done house calls in tiny studio apartments, sprawling Wellington horse properties, beachfront condos with valet parking, and everything in between. Access hasn't been a problem yet.
Drive Times from Our Facility

Our animal hospital facility is in Lantana, which is pretty central to the county. That means:

10-15 minutes: Lake Worth, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach
15-20 minutes: West Palm Beach, Palm Springs, Atlantis
20-25 minutes: Boca Raton, Palm Beach Gardens, Wellington
25-30 minutes: Jupiter, Royal Palm Beach, Highland Beach
30-35 minutes: Tequesta, Loxahatchee, Jupiter Farms

These are general estimates. Your actual appointment time depends on your address and our schedule, not just drive time. During season, traffic can add 10-15 minutes to any of these estimates.
