I was born in Aurora, Illinois, and graduated from Northern Illinois University with two degrees in Elementary and Special Education. I moved to South Florida in 1990 where I tutored elementary students and also opened my own graphic design business. Through a vast meeting of clients and based on my love for animals and animal rescue, I accepted a job working at Stetzer Veterinary Hospital in Coral Springs which I came to adore and worked my way up to Manager. During my ten years there, I learned all aspects of its day-to-day operations making constant practice decisions benefiting every department with the ultimate goal of satisfying our clientele.
Our hospital was eventually sold, but now to work alongside Dr. Steve gives me the perfect opportunity to continue what I love to do. I also provide additional services assisting in pet care, boarding, dog walking and pet sitting primarily in Coral Springs, Parkland, and Coconut Creek areas. Occasionally I can provide these services in the Boca Raton & Delray Beach areas as well.
I reside in Coral Springs with my husband, five cats, and six birds. When it comes to helping animals, I will do whatever it takes to make an animal comfortable and loved. I not only have a passion for this business but above all else the passion for both pets and their owners. My goal is to continue schooling and learn anything possible in the field of Veterinary Medicine and Pet Therapy
. When not working, I enjoy gardening, especially with butterflies and orchids, photography, bicycling and flying in hot air balloon competitions festivals with my family.
